Brilliant. Painfully accurate. I’d like to see this circulated around every school and practice, but mostly amongst city councils and administrations. They are all too easily taken in by this stuff (and that includes here in Australia)… Hmmm, I wonder how you’ll feel when you start getting paid for repeating this template on real jobs?

Don’t worry – I’m already fighting the template in practice – against colleagues, consultants, ‘best practice’ guides. This was actually based on an urban design report prepared by a competitor that landed on my desk. Feel free to give it some air – and say TTT sent you!

Its scarily exact and looks horribly familiar..I think its quite sad. I spent about six months of my year out reproducing exactly that report..and losing all faith in architecture…until I quit my job!

Don’t lose faith! Urbanism is much more compelling than corporate practice mostly makes it out to be. Hey, look at the rest of our site!
